Examiner Information
Introduction
Revisions by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment to the Pesticide Act require that, effective January 1, 2000, all unlicensed pesticide applicators must become Registered Technicians in order to apply pesticides commercially under indirect supervision.

To meet the anticipated need and sucessfully implement the Pesticide Technician Program a network of industry examiners is required.

The following is a brief overview of the role and responsibilities for examiners in the Registered Technician Program. Interested and qualified individuals wishing to become examiners are requested to mail or fax back their interest to the Pesticide Industry Council, c/o Landscape Ontario.
